Amida made a vow to save us all,

All creatures in their incarnations.  Love

And mercy lift us.  Other saviors fall

Far short of such salvation.  Far above

Their scope, Amida’s promise to renounce

His Paradise until he makes his vow

Come true exalts him, making him pronounce

The widest blessing ever.  On his gilded brow,

Behind it, everywhere, a universe

Of clemency and grace is floating, pure

Of heart, transparent, waiting to disperse

His blessing.  His reprieve will not demur.

His empire, farthest in his golden west,

Is calling you to grasp his wide bequest.
