That Hot Embrace
Modern poetry modern verse contemporary poetry contemporary verse modern poem contemporary poem
He cannot ever run or swim without
Romance the power in his sinews, sweat,
And dreams. He does not let the sunshine doubt
His future, stretched determination’s whet
Stone ever in the pain. He sees the goal
As lovers aim for ravishment. No dusk
Is found. He always serenades the whole,
The whole. His love affair is more a tusk
That gores its way to climax of success.
He grunts and strides and gasps and lunges to
That sentiment beyond. Forget caress.
Abandon pity of the self. Just do.
..Futurity is not just sporting dreams.
….Tomorrow is his love for muscle screams.
