If God be single & has lasted since
E-t-e-r-n-i-t-y, this means we have to ask,
“Just how did this completely lonely Prince
Live up to that start-less, limitless cask
Requiring someone else to love? His life
˂ E x t e n d e d u n e n d i n g l y i n e i t h e r ˃
Direction, “past” and “prox.” All can see the strife
In this for One who had no breather
From I – solation . An infinity
Stretched˂˂ back before He made the other that
He simply could adore. Affinity
Was quite beyond Him. Finding Himself at
Last, God made love … God molded a male like
You, a bloke of kingly beauty with that spike.
