Who loves (as in delirium) a boy.
Fevered hallucinations (they know) can
Not disappear at will. He’s not just joy,
This would be man still swelling towards the truth
Of masculinity. Necessity
Is more like what he is, this swelling youth.
Anyone not suffering cecity
Can see that fact about this thing called love.
It dominates as prophets wish they could.
This fevered god wields weapons far above
Those made of divinity. It’s wood
Is of a hardness held inside a soft
Exterior. It holds truth’s strength aloft.
