The primitives did not consider soul

And physics separate.  They both belonged

To one continuum, to one great whole.

The granite cave and holm oak woods were pronged

With spirits.  Ancient Greece and Amazon

Selenicereus were filled throughout

With specters slighter than the Eos dawn.

Tranced shamans in their robes would sway about.

Zombed men and women stood with glazed eyes in

Belief that interpenetration held

The meanings everywhere.  All truths begin

And end uninterrupted, dance and meld.

  Divinity and molecules shared breath

And ghosts were life continuing past death.
