Predicted before Midnight
We make the world anew at night in bed.
I make it in you and you take it in
You deeply, and you take it deeper, spread
Yourself to take it deeper than the sin
That Eve and Adam shared. You take it’s deep
And turn it into newness there beyond
My reach. Although my juddered need is steep,
You take my wrenching blasts and then abscond
With them to God know where but far too late.
By then I made our new creation you
Provided with your half. Your inner gate
Was ready for the hunching, occult spew.
..The newness was not new, both new and old,
….A newness old enough to be foretold.
