Today he has a thick, full beard, quite dark
The brown but with the slightest touch of red.
It’s wavy, too. In fact there’s nothing stark
About the whiskers or the man. His head
In truth is planted with the cutest nose
Imaginable, and so although the hair above
His lips is like the moustache in the pose
Of an Assyrian king, this guy’s a dove
In sweetness of appearance. That’s despite
The lumberjackish shirt and underneath
A cotton undergarment that just might
Be long johns for sleeping in on the heath.
..Instead he’s working at his Acer keys.
….He working at a carrel, not in trees.
