Luther Resurrected and Improved
He looks a bit like Luther must have looked
When he was young, his mouth a little sad,
His nose, though cute and certainly not hooked,
Considerably turned up and just a tad
Too short and narrow to transpose to
Seriousness of ordered, tonsured monk.
This present one’s a bent neck scholar who
Wouldn’t get himself bloody blinding drunk
And piss his bed sheets like the Reformer.
In actuality, though not a stud,
This young one here’s sexier, warmer,
More attractive than the fleshy faced dud
Who still haunts us from the Reformation.
I like this hunky transfiguration.
