Don’t understand me, then we are in love.
At least that seems the only way for true
Love’s husbandry in marriage. High above
Mere passion is the need for mystery.
A man whose partner has him figured out
Is bound for a miserable history
With her or him. A miserable pout
Or argument is on the simmer all
The time when men are deeply understood.
What’s needed is some secrecy to stall
Such fights. A certain secrecy is good.
