The magnifying glass of language helps.

The notion of a science made without

That lens makes sneers.  True poets cause the whelp

Of insight, sometimes make our hearts devout

And flare epiphanies where dreams are dark,

Where maggots in a coffin munch in black

Beneath six feet of soil, its depness stark.

The seers use their tongues in choral claque

To muddle us in layers of a maze

Like sirens where we struggle bound to masts

Of ships in hurricanes.  Faiths sing their brays

We close our ears and wait for language of

A true religion made of mind and love.
