Letter to Gurdjieff
I’m sorry. Daydreaming is good. In fact,
It is the most important part, the nth
Of self-awareness. Dreaming’s not the bract
Of consciousness, but the root; not the plinth
Invented for the brain- and heart-filled bust
Created by the God of stone and soul,
Of all. Our yearns are skull and ribcage thrust
Up higher than that mundane marble pole.
Our dreams and daydreams in our “waking sleep”
Are not just note, or melody, or chord–
But are the whole of composition’s sweep.
They are the ocean Music, not a fjord.
..Your maundering philosophy is fake.
