Abandon the religion you were taught.
It seemed like diamonds set in white gold rings,
But now you see the truth. Some truths are not
Religion if they lack transparent wings
To lift you into love and utterness
Of grace, and mercy . . . spiritual gold.
Religions that do not are gutterness.
Religions that do not do that have sold
Their souls for hate, commandments, leaden rules
And certainty instead of hugging faith.
Such religions make Armageddon rules.
They moan like spirit turned to leaden wraith.
Create a faith from beauties inner, new.
Create a faith that finds the best of you.
