In Nietzsche’s thinking, joy dies and lives
Again, again, again, and yet because
It comes around eternally, he gives
It an eternal life, and then a pause
Of death, then life again, upraising in
Its dying and its birth another type
Of bounded boundlessness, repeated spin,
Or it is an eternal death, a hype
Of wide recurrence that he dresses up
As endlessness, existence in a loop
Of atomies re-jiggled in God’s cup
And then thrown out into the spilled out soup
We call the universe—yet if it be
Existence, it is death immortally.
