Hypnotic Harmony

Immortal harmony is promised by

The Christian God, the Holy Spirit, Son

And Father.  But the meaning of this sly

Assurance is not grasped by everyone.

Most take it at face value.  Here’s the catch,

Though.  What it means is that this harmony

Is caused by hymning angels in a batch

In heaven and the singing agony

Of souls in Hell.  This double choir sings notes

That teach the truth about the soul of God.

God saves his favored sheep—but all soul goats

Are roasted live unendingly.  That Sod!

  So now we know what Music of the Spheres

    Means.  God wants shrieks and endless scalding tears.
