Of graves are pretty dapper guys. They’re dressed

In silvers, silks, and platinum that’s swirled

Dior-like, draped in Galliano best,

And wearing Prada sunspecs trailing mist

Above morticians’ coffins on display.

These dead ones look as if they have been kissed,

So stylish is the look, and hover, sway,

And moonwalk in a Michael Jackson mode.

They’re partial to matte-finish, stainless steel

Caskets. The faces have a touch of woad

To maximize the coolness and the feel

Of gauze-like veiled ensembles. Their non-breath

Is mercury sublimated—pale death.
