Blackness Stained to White and Pink
Each dawn will come now
From the white plum blossoms on
Branches of black trees. ~ December 4 2021
Where dawns derive from has been falsified
By scientists. They say it’s from the sun
Arising. Is that right? It makes its slow,
Slow stride across the night to slowly stun
The world with scientific light. But that
Is not the truth. The truth is that the white
Of blossoms brings about the spring’s éclat
Of sunrise. Plum trees wait throughout the night
For God to use their essence for the break
Of day. The pink in dayspring comes from trees
With cherry blossoms. These bring on the quake,
And silent pink of snowflakes through the breeze.
The April daybreak comes from petals on
These patient trees. They cause each prunus dawn.
