Always and Forever in Love

Always and Forever in Love

I’ve been in love as long as I have known

About such stuff:  I’ve been in love with me.

I’ve always sat on true romance’s throne

Inside my heart.  It’s true that I’ve been free

Since teenage years to fall in love you,

For instance, or with others.  But I’ve learned

That other loves morph into something blue

And sad, sad, bad, whenever I have burned

For someone else.  These other loves are wrong

Because those other worthless objects of

My passion do not love me with as strong

An ardour as I have for me.  My love

For me is perfect, perfect as romance

Should be.  It serves me as the best bromance.
