If gods you worship, saints you worship with,

Do not wear lace and Shalimar perfume,

Consider changing them.  Switch to a myth

Including goddesses who wear a plume,

Say, ostrich purple on their private parts,

And change to gods with genitals as large

As Elon Musk’s ego but don’t have hearts

As hard as his.  Pray like Madame Defarge

To something steely smelling more like blood.

You will not need knitting needle skills or

Your rosary.  You still can hear heads thud

From chops.  Your spiritual soul will soar.

But first look out for gods who wear a scent

From France while waiting for the blade’s descent.
