A Trillion Gigabytes of Verity
Tonight the news is worried that a search
On Google hints that being gay is wrong—
A sinful illness. The Web’s a broad church
And if you key in “holocaust,” the strong
Impression is that lots of people think
That it’s a fiction, hoax, and lie. They feel
That Gay is filthy. They deny the stink
Of Auschwitz. Everything is cyber real
On Google, even lies by Donald Trump—
At least no guidance of the firmer sort
Is given to the young. Search engines lump
Facts with lies, sneering at truth with a snort.
This isn’t new. What’s new is that the world
….Believes that iPhones shine with truth unfurled.
