Limitless Response
Death garners blankness, stores the space between
The asteroids. Notwithstanding, Love breathes
In all spaces, even those which green
Has never dwelt in. Love inhales the wreaths
Of galaxies and closer groupings of
These glittering, fiery families of stars,
Inhales among, inhales them. They know Love
As breath blown through them and as lungs with scars
That suns exist in. Starry spaces fill
The bronchioles of Love, for Love is vast
And so its smallest alveoli thrill
With stellar clusterings of spheres amassed.
Death has its realms, although it has no breath.
Love sets its stars as seals against dread death.
