They’re everywhere:  in front of holy sites
Like altars in cathedrals, or in front
Of foreign monuments, the flashing lights
Of Nikons, especially an affront
When notices in several tongues fixed on
The wall forbid the use of lens with flash—
Their language, too.  It doesn’t even dawn
(On tourists such as these) signs should abash
Them.  Girls give their oriental titter
Behind their tiny little fingers and . . .
Giggle as they post the pics on Twitter.
These photos, each and every one, are bland.
