Of Hollywood decides to resurrect
Some part of it, though even then the Whens
And Wherefores are distorted, the correct
Is sacrificed for thrills. Who cares about
The facts when tears or laughs can fill the screen?
The audience, directors have no doubt,
Want violence and sex in an obscene
Olympic contest. Who gives a “Top Gun”
Fuck for reality and history? The truth
Is disappeared to guarantee dumb fun
And sell more popcorn near the ticket booth.
