The loveliest and brightest of the grand

Ideals is stretched aloft — or hovers far above

The skies.  It is a queen with wings’ command.

It is an eagle that is built of love

And highest faith.  This bird of prey spreads wide

Its pinions.  Wider still it casts its eye

Across the realms which we inhabit, spied

By justice but, yes, mercy as they fly

Together as one feathered entity.

This female raptor is disposed to prey

On evils only.  Its identity

Is known as all religions’ chief array.

It lives like vultures on the taste of death.

When wrongs have died, it breathes eternal breath.
