Love Making, in Tenses

  Love Making, in Tenses

Yes, I believe in evolution.  That’s an

Opening of something that is rolled

Out, scroll-like; I have now become the man

That mother’s egg and father’s seed foretold.

Yes, everything I grew was first implied

When one tailed sperm broke through to graft its genes

Inside a gift.  A universe was dyed,

A universe uniquely filled with scenes

My parents could not know, unpredicted,

Obscure to both of them but sure.  That world

Encompassing my self is constricted

To mind and flesh, once coiled, and now unfurled.

Distinctions flowed out from her core-like room

….Where love dealt out my tarot from that womb.
