Time might not go forever but it’s long
Enough to grow quite thin. That’s why we’ve thought
Up things like God, immortal life, and song
Of angels praising Him from the year dot–
If His creation of them was the start
Of boring time. Jehovah, He Alone
Inhabits time’s unmeasured counterpart,
Eternity, which is His pheromone
Of choice (He being free). So, when you smell
It you will know that He’s around somewhere,
Creating nascent sinners and the Hell
He’s planned (white hot) to match His glowing hair.
00 We’re told that Hell, like Him, springs eternal.
