Viral Riddance

Who says that emptiness is wrong? Not those
Who hate humanity, the women, men,
And screaming brats. Di Chirico may pose
The eeriness of blankness. It haunts. Then
We think of all the good of barren streets
The Covid-19 virus has produced.
This beauty of the lack of men defeats
Surrealism’s weird effects. Induced
Instead is great relief, the freedom from
The families, the masses of the crude,
The graceless, thoughtless, louts and sluts who scum
The pavements slouching toward the ultra rude.
..This vacuum the virus causes sucks
….Away the ugliness of most such fucks.
