Lots of us are just not beautiful. Yeah?
Perhaps not ugly, no, but pretty plain.
(Forgive the big-nosed paradox.) Not BLEH,
But not so gorgeous that it causes pain.
The lip as thin as primness or the hip
Too thick and fat like a contusion,
A breast that droops too blobby for worship,
These all, whether scantness or protrusion,
Turn us into non-Marilyns, non-Pitts.
Perhaps blue eyes are spread too far apart
Or shoulders sit too close together. Zits
Disfigure, graffiti moustache on art.
Face facts. Most of us are so so ducklings
….While wishing we were super swan fucklings.
