When dining off gold plates, I think of you,
Yes, not of Greek ambassadors around
The tables of the Persian court. Peru
Might spring to mind where love is gold and crowned
As anything might be with turquoise stones
Because of you, but I might turn it up
To dream of beakers in those Inca zones
And raise to you narcotic Inca cup
Devotion. China next would offer gold
Containers, knives, and densest carat spoons
For me to use while trying to unfold
My high regard by serving white gold moons
Dropped in the cup so your rich eyes might view
While drinking why I love the lustrous you.
