We always knew, or felt we knew, that love

Is not just heart, that it was mind as well,

Some kind of mind at least, perhaps above

The rationality of brain to make that swell

To something greater, colored like a star

Expanding, or a galaxy that meets

Another and they mingle, heart ajar

For mind to detonate with godlike beats

We always want in passion caused by god

Or gods like Cupid, even Allah might

Be welcome in this mix.  The mind is awed,

Though.  Heart wins.  Daylight overwhelms a night.

Men almost never know what’s really true

    — But I do.  This is so because of you.
