Would you pick up?  The moon as tambourine

Might fill your night-time, or the midnight sun

Might be your choice if it were amber, green

Or even purple as an amethyst

As glass harmonicas and take on wings

To fly to galaxies so far away

That planets now unknown might be your choice

As instruments.  Then you with breath might play

Ethereal cantatas with your voice.

Why stop at that?  At last involve the whole

High cosmos, key it with your total soul.
